Program Description

Steppingstone Youth Village will operate a trauma-informed emergency residential shelter providing short-term stabilization services for youth entering protective custody.

  • 24/7 Emergency Shelter: Immediate placement for displaced youth

  • Crisis Intervention: De-escalation and behavioral support

  • Medical & Mental Health Care: On-site nursing and therapy services

  • Comprehensive Assessments: Physical, dental, and psychological evaluations

  • Case Management: Individualized service planning and permanency coordination

  • Life Skills Training: Daily living and independence prepartion

Length of Stay

  • 30 to 90 days

  • Focus on stabilization and transition to long-term placement

  • Partnership with local school district for enrollment

  • On-site tutoring and structured study programs

  • Continuity of academic progress
